Welcome to Katharine Hill Photography
Katharine studied art at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design before continuing her studies there for a BA (Hons) Degree in Photography. She has pursued her dream of becoming a professional photographer and has worked in the industry for eight years and for the last three has been working as a press photographer as well as taking on various private commissions.
Katharine's passion lies in music photography. She has spent time being trained by acclaimed music photographer, Jill Furmanovsky. She has since photographed such artists as Madness, Fightstar, Ash, Motorhead, Charlotte Hatherley, Blondie, Kula Shaker, Fightstar, Straw and The Levellers. When she's not holed up at the front of sweaty mosh pits Katharine like to indulge her other passion for travel photography. She has travelled extensively building up a large portfolio of landscape images from the U.S., Europe, Morocco and Britain.
